Everyone Eats: A Pay-What-You-Can School Lunch Program ~ a collaboration between School District and Community Organization

This poster will show a collaborative model between our non-profit organization and local school district to deliver a pay-what-you-can hot lunch program, ensuring all students have access to healthy, culturally inclusive meals. Our poster will visually illustrate how the program operates and showcase this highly collaborative approach in action.
Bio:
SOPHIE LARSEN is the COO of Good Food Programs with CCS. She coordinates initiatives that support local food security, including Cranbrook Food Recovery, The Food Innovation Centre, and Cranbrook Urban Farm. Her work has supported major grants that strengthen regional food systems, while fostering collaboration between schools, non-profits, and community members. Sophie is committed to creating accessible, sustainable, and community-driven solutions that benefit people in Cranbrook.
VINCENT GIRIMONTE works with School District 5 in Southeast Kootenay, supporting initiatives that enhance student well-being. He is involved in developing and coordinating school food programs, fostering partnerships with local organizations, and promoting inclusive, accessible opportunities for students and families. Vince focuses on practical, community-driven solutions that strengthen connections between schools, local food systems, and the broader Southeast Kootenay community.
