Inclusive, Allergy-Aware School Food Across Canada
June 3
3:30 – 4:30pm
Room 522A
Children across Canada bring a wide range of dietary needs into school food programs – from food allergies and medical diets to cultural and religious food practices. This panel brings together voices from manufacturing, food service, advocacy, and community-based school food leadership to explore how inclusive, allergy-aware food programs can be designed and delivered at scale. Panellists from Wise Bites, Real Food for Real Kids, Food Allergy Canada, and Food First NL will share practical approaches, real-world challenges, and emerging solutions to support safe and inclusive school food programs for students living with food allergies.
