A tour of La Cantine pour Tous’ network of social economy caterers in Montérégie and Eastern townships.

Hit the road for a full-day tour to discover 3 inspiring community food initiatives, members of La Cantine Pour Tous’ network of social economy caterers, across Quebec’s Montérégie and Estrie regions — two predominantly rural, agricultural areas southeast of Montreal known for their orchards, vineyards, and strong local food culture. Start in Sutton with a visit to the school cafeteria run by non-profit, Racine Pop, and tour the school greenhouse managed by AgrÉcole. Over lunch at SOS Dépannage Moisson Granby, learn how this organization connects people experiencing food insecurity with fresh, local food. End the day in Saint-Hubert at Les Cuisiniers Différents, an affordable catering service run by people living with intellectual disabilities. Each stop on this road trip offers a different model of how communities are rethinking food access, education, and inclusion.
