Exploring Community Food Initiatives on Montreal Island

Spend a full day visiting community-led food initiatives across Montreal Island. Start the morning at Lakeside High School greenhouse, a space designed for hands-on learning, experimentation, and connection. Continue to a community garden where environmental, educational, and neighbourhood priorities come together. Finish with a look at a site under development, offering an opportunity to envision what larger-scale community food projects can look like. A thoughtful day of exchange, inspiration, and reflection for anyone building food programs rooted in their own communities.
